This project is an extensive remodel, addition and seismic retrofit of a John Hudson Thomas home in the Berkeley hills.

To adapt this old house to the needs of the new owners, we added 2,500 square feet of new space including a guest suite, library and maids quarters. In conjunction with the addition, we remodeled the master bedroom and kitchen and converted the sun porch into a formal dining room. Custom trim details, tile patterns and cabinetry were introduced to help unify old and new portions of the house.
